Website for Financial Investment Control

An application that allows users to manage portfolios with hedge fund-level insights. It is specifically designed for individual investors investing in stocks, options, and cryptocurrencies. The application consists of several sub-projects, and each of the sub-projects involves a lot of financial calculations.

As a QA engineer, I tested the application's front and back end. While performing a business logic test, my main goal was to check how different calculations work. I didn't create strategies for financial calculations, but I checked already created ones, which included:

• Console application testing by acquiring financial data, cross-rates, and news data from four different data vendors and appropriately updating them.
• A data analysis, which I used to create a data analysis custom report for manual checking and tracking cases with potential issues.
• Automated test verification and support.

Medical Equipment System

A dedicated system that communicates with the blood medical devices. It can be connected to the customer's local area network (LAN). The system can collect, store, and process session data from medical devices connected to the app. The connection to the LAN offers functionality to view and consult the collected session data and adapt the device or parameter settings of the medical devices via the customer's personal computer. In addition, the connection to the LAN enables the application to communicate bi-directionally with third-party systems linked to the same LAN, i.e., a customer's database management system. The system consists of three applications: a web server application (WSA), a device assistant application (DAA), and an installer or updater.
