The WPPS was created from a glaring need derived from frequent customer interviews and customer satisfaction data regarding payment timing for prizes at our global events.

I led the research, problem statement, use case, and executive approval presentation to develop a system that would utilize microservices and a third-party payment e-wallet to improve our turnaround time and reduce manual labor.

When launched, this payment system reached 30 million players globally. It was localized in nine different languages to provide the optimal onboarding experience and contributed to a 5-10% participation growth bump at our international events.
