    • Led crucial investment program initiatives within the EMEA company branch, which required assembling and leading a cross-functional team of 15+ highly-motivated professionals and managed 35+ stakeholders.
    • Developed and implemented cyber-security projects for 5G technology in the telecommunication sector. Despite issues with other vendors as well as product bug-fixing, the project was delivered with success.
    • Developed and standardized requirements management processes using Jira and Confluence in the department of around 60 people. Used change management techniques to minimize the impact of different objectives and make change durable.
    • Implemented Agile techniques and practices on project, program, and portfolio levels. Improved the way business was developing Investment projects using Scaled Agile practices, integrating the work of multiple teams.
    • Assumed responsibility for performing strategic initiatives on product backlog management with the department portfolio. Created, estimated, prioritized, and monitored the product backlog.
    • Took over and managed a portfolio of projects for clients around the world. Managed to handle stakeholders' expectations despite constant issues with human resources and SLAs, which impacted the portfolio performance.

    • Worked as a scrum master, leading three teams of developers from the BAE, client, and supplier companies. Quickly onboarded into the team, guided and coached developers and product owner in Agile, especially in the Scrum framework.
    • Integrated work of three scrum teams, working on different projects within the portfolio. Conducted sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings using Jira and Figma as collab tools. Also, quickly solved impediments and improved team performance.
    • Implemented multiple Jira improvements, among which the most important were using fixed versions to track the progress of development across several epics, improved management of epics, and the use of a Jira roadmap.

    • Elaborated and implemented migration project requirements into the final anti-money laundering (AML) and customer due diligence (CDD) product solution for the banking industry.
    • Contributed to the successful scoping and execution of the banking migration project by performing as-is and to-be gap analyses and presentations to clients.
    • Moved customized product features from the legacy banking AML system to the new version of the software.
    • Became a subject matter expert in AML product solutions and organized internal pieces of training for knowledge-sharing with other consultants and analysts.
    • Created, elaborated, and monitored the project scope, wrote user stories and enablers (technical US), and estimated the activity size and duration through frequent backlog refinement sessions.

Project History

  • Front-end Refreshment Project for Legacy System
    Launched and managed several releases of front-end refreshment project for a legacy, cyber-security product, which had not been upgraded for 10+ years.

    Set up and managed a group of 10-15 professionals responsible for delivering front-end refreshment for legacy systems. Implemented Agile solutions to execute a program of initiatives, deliver value frequently, and improve work forecasting.

  • 5G Cyber Security Project for Telecommunication
    Successfully delivered 5G Telecommunication Cyber Security project.

    During the bid phase, I interacted with the selling team, solution architects, and technical leaders to elaborate on high-level customer and business requirements, craft and review proper solution design, prepare project estimates and risks, and lead the bidding phase to obtain a PO.

    After the bid was won, I quickly mobilized the project team due to the previous collaboration with the portfolio manager about project resource demand. In the meantime, I managed to create a product backlog with the product owner, solution architect, and developers.

    The work progress was monitored closely during the development because of the different dependencies (like providing test samples) between the CSP (Content Service Provider) and the project team. The project team released increments several times to the customer representative testing environment for internal testing (FAT) and external testing (SAT). In the end, the project was slightly behind schedule (due to the external risks), however within the budget and, most importantly, with good customer satisfaction.

  • Project Manager for A Recycling Company
    Supporting Grant Agreement process, implementation of Notion enhancements.

    During the assignment in The Recycling Partnership, I was accountable for preparing grant agreements (contracts) for MRFs, managing project budgets, and creating project roadmaps using Notion. Moreover, I focused on continuous improvement activities. For this reason, I implemented several enhancements in Notion, like the stakeholder engagement tool or meeting notes optimization.

  • AML and CDD Software for Banking
    Migrated customer data and implemented state-of-the-art features in an anti-money laundering (AML) and customer due diligence (CDD) product.

    During this migration project, I was accountable for gathering and elaborating requirements and crafting the product backlog in Jira to ensure team alignment and make it easier to track and forecast the work performance. I was also accountable for estimating the project work and splitting the work among technical and product team members.

  • Data Validation Tool for a Legacy Product
    Managed a small team of C++ developers, ensuring the frequent delivery of validation tool increments according to the roadmap.

    Customers believed the legacy system in use was not reliable. They requested a tool to validate if the data captured and stored in the SQL Server and content store database corresponds to the data ingested in the system. I was accountable for managing a small development team of C++ developers, managing wide stakeholder group expectations, and delivering product increments in line with the roadmap.

  • Scrum Master on a Time and Materials Contract
    Improved the implementation of Agile methodologies in development teams, positively impacting Jira workflows, project documentation, and planning.

    I acted as a scrum master and servant leader to three small agile teams accountable for developing and maintaining tens of small projects within the customer portfolio. During planning and refinement sessions, I supported the product owner and portfolio managers and improved the team workflow during sprint retrospective sessions.
