Challenge

A CPG multinational was planning to roll out a new strategy to sell food products directly to consumers, setting up pop-ups that would have their placement optimized to correspond with large gatherings or seasonal celebrations, such as sporting or cultural events. However, to finalize planning for this cross-geography effort, the work needed to be normalized and looked at holistically rather than as siloed proposals.

Solution

Solution

A Toptal finance expert worked with the different client teams to synthesize the data and recommendations from their various work plans. The freelancer made adjustments to the implementation models, after conducting analyses that included looking at traffic data patterns in the major cities around transport hubs.

Outcome

Impact

Toptal formulated a plan that worked synergistically as a whole, taking into account the different geographies but also utilizing economies of scale. The client was subsequently able to optimize vendor booth locations, using Toptal’s recommendations for areas to target during rush hours or peak seasons.
